Rates & Insurance
Rates
$180 for intake/initial 60 minute session, $140 per 45 minute session thereafter. Reduced fee rate is available on a very limited basis. Posted rates are subject to change, and may not reflect the current rate at the time of initiation of services. Rates and fees will be discussed with you prior to any consent to services and a Good Faith Estimate will also be provided at intake (see below). Payment is due at the time of service (for intake/initial session) and is due upon scheduling a session (for regular sessions after intake/initial session).
Insurance
I am an out-of network provider, which means that services may be fully or partially covered by your insurance company. You will need to provide payment prior to (regular sessions) or at the time of services (intake/initial session) for your session. Possible reimbursement, by your insurance company, will be provided after services are rendered and after you submit for that reimbursement.
At your request, I will supply you with an invoice (also called a superbill) with all of the necessary information to be submitted directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to submit this information to your insurance company.
It is recommended that you contact your insurance company to find out the policy for out-of-network mental health providers and coverage.
Some questions you may ask your insurance company include:
What are my out-of-network behavioral health insurance benefits for outpatient services? / Do I have out-of-network mental health (outpatient) insurance benefits?
How many outpatient sessions does my insurance company cover yearly?
What is my reimbursement rate per outpatient session?
Do I need a physician referral prior to initiating outpatient therapy?
Payment
I accept cash, Zelle, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept payment directly on my site via SimplePractice. See Client Portal section.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
No Surprises Act – Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059
Any Other Questions
Information on this website is not exhaustive of all policies that are contained in the Consent for Treatment form and other forms, typically completed upon initiation of services. After services are initiated, as the need arises, you are encouraged to further ask about services and policies to make certain your ongoing understanding and consent for treatment. Please contact me for any additional questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!
